Coriant SURPASS hiT (Hybrid Integrated Transport) is a family of multiservice provisioning platforms originally developed by Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks, and later carried by Coriant. Designed for metro and regional networks, the hiT series enables efficient transport of SDH/SONET, Ethernet, and WDM services over a unified infrastructure. The modular architecture supports a wide range of configurations—from compact edge access devices (hiT 7020–7030) to high-capacity aggregation and core transport nodes (hiT 7060–7500). The platform delivers carrier-grade reliability, integrated cross-connect functionality, and flexible service grooming, making it ideal for converged service delivery across legacy and next-gen network environments.
