The ECI XDM 1000 is a compact, high-performance, multi-service transport platform developed for metro access, campus networks, and edge aggregation. Designed by ECI Telecom, this modular shelf supports a range of services including SDH/SONET, PDH, Ethernet and MPLS, providing converged transport over a small footprint.
Its flexible architecture allows support for point-to-point links, ring, chain, or mesh topologies and makes it ideal for transitioning from legacy TDM-based infrastructure to next-generation packet-based services. Carriers can offer Ethernet Private Line, Ethernet Virtual Private Line, and Virtual LAN services with QoS and SLA guarantees, all while conserving rack space and simplifying network evolution.
Carritech supports operators using XDM 1000 deployments by sourcing shelves, common control cards, I/O modules, fan units, and power modules. We test and verify all components to ensure compatibility with legacy networks and to extend serviceability where active OEM support has ceased.
