The Huawei CX600-X8 features a bidirectional switching capacity of 7.08 Tbit/s and an interface capacity of 3.84 Tbit/s. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz processing unit with 4 GB SDRAM, 4 MB NVRAM, 32 MB Flash, and 4 GB CF card storage. The chassis dimensions are 620 mm x 442 mm x 650 mm (H x W x D), with a typical power consumption of 4100W and heat dissipation of 13289.74 BTU/hour. It supports DC input voltage from -38 V to -72 V and AC input voltage from 90 V to 275 V, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 45°C.

The CX600-X8 chassis includes eight LPU slots, two SRU slots, and one SFU slot, supporting hot-swappable components for easy maintenance. It features indicators for various components to display operational status or potential faults. The platform supports both DC and AC power supply systems, with DC power utilizing four 70 A Power Entry Modules in a 2+2 backup mode.
