The Tellabs 8800 MSR series is distinguished by its availability in three chassis sizes: the 6-slot Tellabs 8830 MSR, the 15-slot Tellabs 8840 MSR, and the 19-slot Tellabs 8860 MSR, all sharing an array of interfaces that underscore unparalleled service adaptability. This series caters to the delivery of a broad spectrum of services ranging from business-class IP and carrier Ethernet services to Frame Relay, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), and Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM) private leased line services, scaling from N x DS-0 to OC-192c/STM-64 and Ethernet services from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps. The Tellabs 8800 MSR series is designed for scalability, reaching up to 320 Gbps in a fully redundant, non-blocking architecture.
