Overview

Product information

The Coriant HiT 7060 is a versatile, carrier-class Multi-Service Provisioning Platform engineered for high-performance metro and aggregation network applications. It integrates traditional SDH/PDH traffic and modern Ethernet services into a single, compact chassis. With support for STM‑1, STM‑4, and STM‑16 interfaces—and advanced features like dual-purpose cross-connect fabrics capable of handling up to 70 Gbps at VC‑4 and 5 Gbps at VC‑12, or an alternate 25 Gbps/10 Gbps configuration—the HiT 7060 delivers dynamic, scalable bandwidth allocation for converged networks.

Designed for real-world telecom environments, the HiT 7060 supports a wide array of data services including 2 Mbit, DS3/E3, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and advanced Layer 2 switching with VLANs, RPR support, and multicast capabilities. It is fully compliant with ITU‑T standards and supports key Ethernet-over‑SDH technologies such as GFP, VCAT, and LCAS. Integrated protection features—including SNCP, MSP, 2F‑MS‑SPRing, and RSTP—ensure robust high-availability operation with sub‑50ms failover times in ring deployments.

At Carritech, we offer complete support for the Coriant HiT 7060 family—including the HC variant—for global deployments. Our inventory of fully tested systems, spare cards, and modules enables network operators to maintain, repair, or extend HiT 7060 infrastructure efficiently. With expert technical support and fast delivery options, we help preserve legacy network investments while supporting gradual transitions to next-generation transport architectures.
